Brackeys Game Jam 2026.1

I’m officially joining Brackeys Game Jam 2026.1.

This is a big one for me because one of my goals this year is to actually finish and submit a jam project.

Why This Jam

I want to build under real constraints:

• Limited time
• A fixed theme
• A hard deadline
• No room for endless tweaking

Brackeys jams always have a good vibe, and I think that pressure is exactly what I need right now.

My Focus for 2026.1

I’m not trying to make something huge. I’m trying to make something complete.

I want to focus on:

• One clear core mechanic
• Good gameplay feel
• Controlled scope
• Actually finishing what I start

If I submit a small polished game on time, that’s a success.

What I’ll Share

I’ll post updates while I work through the jam.

After it ends, I’ll also do a proper reflection post:

• What went well
• What didn’t
• What I’d change next time
• What I learned

I’m excited, slightly nervous, and ready to get started.
